For years, as a dairy free and gluten free person, I have felt ignored and straight up disrespected by the lack of available desserts at most places. If I had to deal with one more server sulking back from the kitchen with a boring-ass sorbet as my only option, while my friends enjoyed a plethora of dazzling, decadent selections,I was going to lose my mind.

WHAT IS DECADENT CURIOSITY?
Decadent curiosity is approaching anything worth doing with a sense of wonder and a slight compulsion to get weird and push boundaries. It is what inspires our choice of ingredients, flavor profiles, and opulent presentation.

INGREDIENTS
We pride ourselves on sourcing high-quality, ethical ingredients. This means a great deal of thought and research goes into the each ingredient we buy.
i.e. Where does it come from? How is it grown / packaged/ preserved? Are the folks who farmed it earning living wages?
We know that there will always be room for improvement in this area, and we strive to always do our best in considering the impact of our decisions.

We make all of our ice cream, cones, cookies, mixins, toppings and garnishes from scratch.
Our small-batch flavors are crafted with a precise blend of oat and house-made raw cashew mylk. Organic cane sugar or organic agave nectar are our sweeteners of choice.
Used responsibly, because sugar crashes are tacky.

Paradise City Creamery is a boutique ice cream shop based in the Arts District of Downtown, Las Vegas.
Founded by community organizer and
ice cream enthusiast, Valerie Stunning,
PCC strive’s to build a business and community that reflects our core values of conscious indulgence, celebration, and giving back.

JOURNEY

February 2011 - Buys her first pair of clear heels and lands a job as a Stripper while living abroad in Sydney, AUS. 6 months later, she performs her first Burlesque act for a rockabilly band in Brighton, UK. This begins her career as an international Stripper and Burlesque performer.
May 2013 - Chooses Las Vegas as a home base in between gigs. Gets increasingly serious about her craft and living a healthier lifestyle. ( i.e. quits smoking, drastically reduces alcohol and meat consumption, and cuts dairy and gluten completely out of her diet.)
March 2016 - Starts a blog that advocates for sex workers' labor and human rights. This leads to community organizing and plants the seed for how effective grass roots activism can be.
April 2017 - Decides she’s over the serious lack of options for dairy-free, plant-based, and gluten-free desserts. Takes matters into her own hands and buys her first ice cream machine.
March 2018 - Realizes she’s got a talent for crafting decadent confections and envisions a business model for a dreamier creamier Las Vegas. Becomes Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Paradise City Creamery.
May 2019 - Paradise City Creamery debuts their first pOp up in Downtown Las Vegas’ Arts District!
